Agave Home Health and Therapy is proud to provide professional medical care in the comfort of your own home throughout most of the Big Bend region. Whether you are recovering from an illness, surgery, chronic pain, or feel like therapy could benefit you, we may be able to help. Deciding which option might be best for you should be done through a consultation with your primary physician. Read more below on what service might best suit your needs.
In-Home Outpatient Therapy:
Outpatient Therapy may be a good choice if you are recovering from a minor illness, injury, or medical issue. Unlike our Home Health services, you do not need to be homebound to qualify. For more serious medical cases, Inpatient Therapy or Home Health is usually recommended. In-Home Outpatient Therapy could potentially help the following:
- Pain relief
- Improving general mobility
- Refine your ability to perform daily activities to get you to your peak level
- Fall prevention
What you can expect with In-Home Outpatient Therapy:
- Personalized treatment: Your therapist will tailor a care plan to your needs and track your overall progress.
- Continuity of Care: Following a home health episode, having the same therapist and the same agency means having someone who knows you and can continue to help you heal.
- Safety and privacy: Therapy in the privacy of your own home means being surrounded by those who know you and can motivate you to your peak level while also limiting close contact with others, helping prevent potential illness exposure.
- Efficiency and convenience: We come to your home. No drives or waiting rooms.
Home Health:
Following injury, illness, or a hospital stay, some patients may qualify for Home Health Services. To be eligible for Home Health, a physician must provide a referral that certifies that you need skilled care and are considered homebound. We will work to improve your physical and functional abilities in the familiar surroundings of your home. Home health may be able to help if you are needing any of the following:
